Project - Aketon.
This is a padded fighting coat worn by itself or under armour whilst fighting. Based off some Byzantine accounts and designed by a fellow guard member. Materials were bought by our Q master.

Project status - 30% done - (16-nov-04).
I have added some extra padding, as it was too thin. Experimented with stuffing with cotton, and it's too thick

Work completed:

• Tailoring the pattern to my frame.
• Cutting the outer material, padding and inner lining.

Work in progress:

• Sewing the layers together (70% done)- this will be done on most sides and 'pillowcased' to keep the seams on the inside(the remaining unstiched sides shall be used to join the panels together).

Work to be done:

• Quilting - aiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
• Straps and buckles to keep it all in place
• Assembly of the panels.
